Hmmmm. I tried your msgprefix setting and it works for me.
Example resource file:
<MsgPrefix>
iww-news
</MsgPrefix>
Note, the test was run against my development version of MHonArc.
How are you invoking MHonArc and specifying the msgprefix resource?
BTW, version of mhonarc? version of perl? OS?
