Why? You can specify REVERSE to get most recent message listed first.
Or, define the "end" anchor in the LISTEND resource to get what you
want.
Also, in v2.3 you can access information about the last message in
the index (eg "$MSGNUM(LAST)") so you can provide a link to the last
message directly.
