Works for me. You sure you replaced mhrcvars.pl properly. Did
you replace the installed version?

Cache problems?

Here is the end of the first message of my test:

     * Prev by Date: Re: "Push" mirroring of servers NO NEXT MESSAGE
     * Prev by thread: Re: "Push" mirroring of servers
     * Next by thread: Re: "Push" mirroring of servers
     * Index(es):
          + Date
          + Thread

And here is the end of the last message of the index:

   NO PREV MESSAGE
     * Next by Date: breaking by week or month?
     * Next by thread: Re: How do you add background and text color tags?
     * Index(es):
          + Date
          + Thread

The formatting goofy, but it correct. Here is the rcfile I used:

<SORT>
<REVERSE>

<NEXTLINKIA>
NO NEXT MESSAGE
</NEXTLINKIA>

<PREVLINKIA>
NO PREV MESSAGE
</PREVLINKIA>

        --ewh

P.S. There is no reason to quote the entire message you reply to.
Only keep around what is relevant.
