Skeleton index files for empty archives?

Hi,

I've enjoyed setting up MHonArc for the archives of the Scheme Request
for Implementation Process at http://srfi.schemers.org.

One small problem remains: Upon creating a web page for a mailing
list, we automatically set up a link to its archive.  However, MHonArc
does not create any index files if the mailing list archive is empty.
The FAQ mentions that it's dangerous to put a dummy maillist.html in
its place as MHonArc may get confused.

Is there a way to force MHonArc to create the index file(s)?

I'd greatly appreciate if any replies could be forwarded to me also.
