   The Promise Ultra133 TX2 looks like it's based on the PDC20269 chip, so for 
Linux I believe the module you want is "pdc202xx_new".

   An AHA-2940UW is a SCSI controller, not an IDE controller.  The AHA-2940UW 
is a decent card but it won't replace your busted Ultra ATA IDE card.
