Well, how old do you mean by old? As in, if I had an ancient ISA video card or three, would you want something like that? > Also am open to any suggestions and comments. I tried ReactOS about a year ago and was not able to load it, because at least at that time it didn't have functionality at initial boot to allow pressing F6 to install a hard disk controller driver from floppy before installing. As such it couldn't detect the onboard RAID controller, and so the attempt at installing it ended there. Other than the above obvious frustration, ReactOS does look promising. I'm wondering why you'd want to play with BeOS, since I believe that product has been deprecated for quite some time now.
