Does anyone know of an open source utility or application that will speed up the audio playback of popular audio file formats?
A Windows-based example of the utility I'm looking for would be 2xAV, a plug-in for Windows Media Player and RealPlayer, from Enounce. http://www.enounce.com/ I've used 2xAV under Windows - works great.
