As a side note I've been looking to move two Moinmoin wikis (one work, one
personal) to a new platform for a number of reasons. It would seem that
quite a few organizations are slowly dumping their Moinmoin wikis in favor
of Mediawiki. Even some organizations with heavy python leanings such as
Fedora seem to be onboard. Is this because of the failings of Moinmoin or
the fact Mediawiki has more users and thus more toys?

The top two alternatives to Moinmoin seem to be Mediawiki and Dokuwiki. If
you wouldn't mind sharing your opinions on why Mediawiki over the others I'd
like to hear them.

Thanks.
