Derek> Or are you saying you're also using the "soft" option and don't have Derek> this problem? I am not using the nfs "soft" option. I would be curious to see if this in fact solves your problem. Please let us know. I'd also still like to know what ssh reports is going on during that initial negotiation. What does ssh say about the remote host key? What does ssh say about the negotiation for the user key? Does it confirm that it is not seeing that the remote key is not there (as would be the case if the drive is not yet mounted)? Just curious. -Greg -- Greg Priest-Dorman [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium Jun 4 - Sqeak! and eToys Jul 2 - KVM (Tenative) Aug 6 - Zenos Sep 3 - TBD
