My boss is trying to implement a new idea, and I agreed to help him.
My main priority at the moment is to setup a server that will automate
billing of credit and debit cards, anything else is just good to have--
that's just the basic of what we need, an automated billing system.

Does anyone know of a FOSS billing system? It will run on a *NIX
server [either OpenBSD or Gentoo GNU/Linux], and will have to be
accessible by Windows computers (sadly, many of my coworkers have yet to
switch). A *NIX client other than the actual server would also be
required, so I can access it from MY work computer.

I'd prefer it to be as open source as possible, as I may change some of
it myself.

Does anyone know of any such thing? I've searched for some time through
freshmeat and google, and have yet to find what I'm looking for exactly.

Thanks in advance,

        -Travis
