I have looked at Spree and OpenFreeway sites but I have not installed
them. I'm not sure if those would be the right choices for me at the moment.

I will probably try OpenFreeway eventually but now I think I have
narrowed to two carts. Satchmo and Drupals Ubercart.
There are plenty of documentation for Drupal module development and
there are some documentation for developing with Ubercart.
I will probably find out which one works best for me after I work with
them for a while.
The nice thing about Ubercart and Satchmo is that it should be pretty
easy to integrate a blog (I think).
Here is a video presentation of Satchmo and a little talk about
integrating it with a django blog called Banjo
http://www.satchmoproject.com/blog/2008/sep/15/satchmo-djangocon-video/

Anyone tried Ubercart?
