The problem areas like Quick Books are really a file format issue rather than a "networking" issue. Unfortunately I haven't found a good solution in terms of Quick Books because while I've found programs that can import it, I can't find programs that can export back to it. One place to have a look at is for Linux program equivalents or replacements for Windows apps: http://www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft/table-eng.html but unfortunately as you'll see, Quick Books isn't in the list. GnuCash and KMoney can do accounting and I believe GnuCash can even do double-entry accounting, but nether will export back to Quick Books. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle [email protected] _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium Jan 7 - Ruby on Rails Feb 4 - TBD
