It worked pretty good when I had it. Be sure that the person has
unlimited long distance within the US, as he will be dialing up
Seattle. Be sure that he isn't trying to use it with Linux and a win
modem. Linux needs a flow control modem such as a Hays modem or most
external modems. A win modem will not work with Linux, unless there has
been a change since I went broadband.
