Agreed, the gist of the event was definitely to have people work on their own projects while they have people with relevant experience available. That said there are definitely a few things we can do and have started to talk about for improving future versions of the event. Sean's idea for getting people to talk about their projects is definitely good. We're also looking at having more videos/resources available to help provide some more info to people, and to reduce the amount of awkward silence which may come up.
