Based on the interest level and positive feedback I've gotten this far, it seems that it is actually time to start getting people together. I've set up a couple informal meetups at the Palace to start exchanging information and ideas. The first will be at 6pm on Tue Jan 19th, and the second at 9pm on Thu Jan 21st. If neither of these times works for you, but you're interested in participating in, or at least discussing, the project, let me know what times do work for you so I can try to set up another meeting.
I've set up a facebook group, so if you are a facebook user you can show your interest by joining. Mike, I already know how you feel about that, and I promise that will never be the ONLY way of communicating squid-related info. (-: The wiki is down temporarily until I figure out how to make it play nice with drupal, or make drupal do its job too. For now, please visit http://squidwrench.itdoesntbelongthere.com to see the site so far. I'm still using the default skin, but the information is growing. Anyone can create an account there, regardless of your level of interest. As always, please pass the word along to anyone else you think might be interested and I appreciate any feedback you guys have. /thor
