Yes I like the idea, I would have the talk centered on where Ruby and Rails intersect. That is core Ruby that can be used as a scripting language and as a Web 2.0 language. Also show by example like Mike Muller's Python talk ( still one of our best talks ) I wish I could give it, but I do not yet know enough to fill 15 minutes.
