Ok we have just about 6 people filling it out, some observations: 1) it only takes 10 seconds to do, it's just 3 questions, painless really 2) "Birds of a Feather" or BoF is just an informal discussion or gathering ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birds_of_a_Feather_(computing) ) I'm interested in learning Drupal for my own project and to help with the MHVLUG web site. Thus I wish others with similar interests to come and discuss ( Thus not giving a talk ) 3) Please add input to Questions 2 and 3 since they help predict ( if we do this ) what we need to prepare.
So far 5 people will come 1 thinks it's a good idea but can't come. One suggestion for a Drupal BoF ( me ) So if you have not please add your input: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=1krolan3fu2skxi804302 On Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 1:21 AM, Ron Guerin <[email protected]> wrote: > Joseph Apuzzo wrote: > > Ubuntu 10.10 will be released on Sunday October 9, 2010 > > If we hold a MHVLUG Help day it's timed to allow people to offer help > > in installing among other things. > > Thus I want to see if there is any interest in holding one on Saturday > > October 16 or 23 ? > > Feel free to announce it on http://installfest.org > > - Ron > _______________________________________________ > Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org > http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug > > Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium > Oct 6 - Creating Browser Extensions for Firefox and Chrome > Nov 3 - Bug Labs > Dec 1 - Dec 2010 Meeting >
