Yes you can use the Ubuntu Live CD and follow the directions on => https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2 Reinstalling GRUB 2 -> METHOD 3 - CHROOT But my intent was to offer everyone on the list an "agnostic" method that works for all grub2 basted distros. Don't want to over-focus on Ubuntu.
