Just checked: LibreOffice Impress has support for this. Rather than inserting a sound onto a slide (which it can do but I can't figure out how to get it to play), the way I was able to do it was to add a slide transition sound. One way you could do this would to have the presentation automatically run, and then record the display with recording software and store the result as either .swf or .mpeg.
