I am advised by a friend of many years that I emailed her some photos to her cell phone.

I have not emailed any photos. When I send an attachment, I tell you in the text what the attachment is and how to open it.

Someone has gotten use of an email address of mine without my permission.

If you got an email with an attachment from me and are using Windows, delete it without opening it, empty your recycle bin, then run your anit-virus software.

On the other hand, if you are using LInux, the email with the attachments would most likely sit harmlessly on your hard drive until your computer died of old age. In that case, forward it to me at this address so that I can see if I can warn everyone who got it and maybe find out who sent it.

If you are using Windows, you have reason for concern. If you are using LInux, you probably find this all just a little amusing.
