As I prepare for day 1 of the class I will be giving, I found that some of
my source material was in pptx

PPTX:
In contrast to .PPT files, which store all presentation data in a single
binary file, PPTX files are created
using the Open XML format, which stores documents as a collection of
separate files in a compressed
zip package. The file types include XML document properties, images, macros,
charts, and other media
files.

It's an awful nasty MS kluge, that guess what Open Office ( yes LibreOffice
) choke on or at least do not render correctly.

Presenting OOO-Ninja to the rescue!
It converted it to a ODP file, (not as nice looking as the original Power
Point), with all the text, pics and formatting in place.
Saved me at least 3 hours+
