$699 Lemur 1.2GHz, 250GB 5400RPM, 1.3MPcam $628 V130 1.33GHz, 320GB 7200RPM, 2.0MPcam Both machines above beat the zareason's smaller HD and 1Gig RAM at $699. Searching all machines with 13" screens on newegg yields ~ 20 machines $580-800, which the buyer would need to research Linux compatibility. An IdeaPad at 14" would get you more of everything except HD speed starting at $600. Oddly the claimed weight is not signifigantly more than the units mentioned above. Again I'm not a Dell FanBoy, but I feel the V130 is price right. On the other hand, I am disappointed, I'd have to buy the Windows version to get the increased specs. This may not upset folks who would like to dual boot. > I have learned to buy systems for what you need now and not try to > anticipate what you will need in two years. > > > > > Please note this is my new email address.
