PBS aired a NOVA program about this last night. Unfortunately I was only able to stay up for half of it (not b/c it was boring -- it wasn't in the least). I think you can still watch it on the PBS website.

I've always liked the T.J. Watson building in Yorktown. I used to work for a contractor there at night and it always looked like a giant spaceship to me.

Good stuff. Which day is David going to be there? I'm assuming not both days.

Hi all,

You've probably heard about IBM's Watson supercomputer and its game of
Jeopardy against Brad Rutter & Ken Jennings next week. If you're
interested, there will be a viewing of the two episodes and a talk by
David Shepler of IBM (who I'm told is the Jeopardy Challenge Program
Manager). He'll be giving a talk about Watson's technology and will do
Q&A. Details below:

SUNY New Paltz
Student Union Building
Multi Purpose Room (2nd floor)

February 15th 6:30PM-7:45PM

There is no silver bullet. Plus, werewolves make better neighbors
than zombies, and they tend to keep the vampire population down.
