The role of MHVLUG Historian has reopened as Tim expressed some concern
that due to his other volunteering work he wasn't able to devote time
here. I thank him for his input and work so far.
That role is now open, and I'll be looking to get nominations to fill it
by the next MHVLUG meeting. The role of historian as I envision it is
pretty simple, record what we do. That means showing up to events
whenever possible, taking some pictures / gathering pictures from those
that do take them, and posting relevant bits back to the website. The
bulk of the time commitment for this is during the meetings themselves,
with maybe a couple hours over the course of the month to do writeups
and posts. As this is the first year of the historian role, you will
get to define the role substantially.
If someone is interested, please speak up.
