Is anyone using any Linux Driver Backup Software?
Normally we use "Double Driver" http://www.boozet.org/dd.htm for WinXP
so did a search using "linux driver backup" but so far all I get is for
Windows. For example

It is extremely rare that you are installing drivers outside your distro
provided kernel paths, so I'm not surprised you didn't find such a
thing, because it's so very rarely needed.
