I don't know how immanent your move to Canada is.  Therefore, there may not
be enough time to gather your own statistics.

I also don't know if you are trying to estimate the bandwidth you use for
one computer (yours) or a whole household.  I also assume you have FIOS with
the Actiontec M1424WR router which does not offer SNMP.  If it is only your
computer you could use MTRG or CACTI on your computer to monitor
your bandwidth usage for a while.  If  by chance you have a router with SNMP
and need to monitor the whole household then MTRG or CACTI would work there
too.
