I did my taxes online with TurboTax and chose to continue even when it told me it wasn't supported and had no issues using Firefox. Interestingly enough this year I bought the H&R software to install on my Windows 7 box which it says is supported but found out that it only installs once you disable UAC so go figure. You aren't suppose to disable UAC and programs should be written accordingly so in my opinion ignore what they say since they don't know what they are doing anyway, I mean the websites are written in Flash.
