I probably isn't going online but probably has all of the packages that
it needs on the drive.  I think that I just deleted one file two many.

Please assist.  I'll bet with the right couple of commands I can fully
restore my system.

Try executing the following as root:

   Xorg -configure
   Xorg -config /root/xorg.conf.new

If those two commands are able to start the graphics up, then compare the newly created /root/xorg.conf.new file with /etc/X11/xorg.conf to see what got screwed up.
