By the way, there are a couple of C64 games that still live on today and are available as native Linux open source packages, without any need to emulate. I never played the C64 game 'Paradroid' in the day, but I was able to play it anyway because of the 'Freedroid' package. One of my favorite games of all time from the C64 was 'Elite', which got open- sourced by one of the original authors, Ian Bell, and it is now available as a GNUStep package, 'Oolite'. And if you remember 'M.U.L.E.', there's an equivalent in Java, 'Planet M.U.L.E.': http://www.planetmule.com/ There are probably others. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle [email protected] _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium May 4 - Inkscape Jun 1 - Zimbra Jul 6 - Jul 2011
