Normally use DBAN on a Bootable Floppy and it uses some version of
Linux.

Any recommendations for software to make a standard 1.44MB Linux
Bootable Floppy?

Would like to have the smallest size to allow more room for apps and
data.

Thanks

Gene

Linux 2.6 won't even compile down to 1.44MB for x86 AFAIK, even with the barest of configuration options. It'd be best to use 2.0, perhaps 2.2.

What's the end goal? What kind of hardware is it? What does it have to support?
