I've been nudging lots of people about projects for July, and the typical first response I get back is "I don't have any ideas". Then we get talking about possibilities for 10 or 15 minutes and there are so many ideas on the table they are spilling all over the floor, out the front door, and into the storm drain.

Think of Arduino as a universal coupler between the land of computers, and the real world. Physical computing.

And in the spirit of that, here's a great project someone made using Arduino (in this case the Tiny) - an ISS passing lamp - http://mechanicalintegrator.com/2011/iss-notify/. It lights up when the space station is coming over head.

I am totally going to have to make one of those.
