One of the suggestions from the MHVLUG leadership meeting was a revival
of the announcements only list. It's been sitting around dormant for a
number of years (though there are still about 20 people subscribed
there/here.
Ok, so how is this going to work? Pretty simple. All the announcements
that are generated from the site for MHVLUG events (today just meetings)
will go to BOTH the regular MHVLUG list, as well as the MHVLUG-ANNOUNCE
list. This means that if you are on the regular MHVLUG list, you'll get
everything.
MHVLUG-ANNOUNCE is just for folks that only want to see the
announcements, and don't want to participate in the discussion. It will
be a couple of emails a month, so very low traffic.
