We'll have detailed maps on the website, and sent to the mailing list,
well before the first meeting over there in January. Don't worry. :)
Fwiw, this is *a lot* easier to find than the basement of the CS
building we used a few years ago.
At dinner after the meeting in Nov we can discuss what material we
should prepare before January to make sure the transition is as smooth
as possible.

Could you post maps to the list as well? I'm in Poughkeepsie now but
meetings have fallen on busy days so far. Vassar is in walking distance
for me though, so I'm looking forward to the new location. :-)

You visitors are better off than I am. There is plenty of visitor
parking near the building, and since there aren't night classes it
is even easier.
I will be showing maps and pictures at the next couple meetings to
try make things a little clear, but come visit sometime while the
sun is out and maybe you can then help others.

What parking restrictions / facilities are there at Vasar for

After a couple of months of looking at various options, and
what sites had to offer, I'm happy to say that we've got a
home for MHVLUG in 2012.
Starting in January we'll be meeting in the Multi-Purpose
Room at Vassar College's Campus Center. I was just at the
space with Ben at lunch, and it's a quite good space.
Given the confusion that people had before with getting onto
Vassar a few years ago, we're going to work on some very
clear directions, and photos on the site to hopefully make
it easy for folks. Ben's going to be prepping lightning
talks for the last two meetings at MHLS so anyone there will
get some extra info on what to expect, and help us make this
simple.
Thanks to Ben and Vassar College for making this happen.
Very happy to now have this resolved, and I think folks will
quite enjoy the new facility.
