This was a good time for this error to happen; the message was entirely your 
own, and it was generally a positive message.  No damage was done.

I once made this mistake at the /wrong/ time.  :-(  There was an argument 
going on in a mailing list, someome sent me a private reply to the thread with 
some stronger aguments that I didn't realize were more personal, and I got 
confused and sent the email back to the mailing list.  That's when making this 
kind of error can be bad.  [So note: when sending someone a personal mail to a 
thread, make sure to tell them them that the email is "offlist".]
