It took me a while to get used to it too, but now that I am I'm more
than OK with it. In IDLE you can go Format/Tabify Region and it will
take all the spaces out and put tabs in, so it's not too bad.
Like anything else, once you get used to it you just deal with it. The
big benefit is how clean the code looks.
A tip for those considering python :o)
VIM and Eclipse can be set to make each tab 4 spaces automatically (as
you type). I'm sure other editors/IDE's can do that too.
I had way less problems with python syntax then with syntax from other
languages and python is not my first language.
I still think Python is awesome! When it comes to Django, there are many
modules/libraries available which can be integrated to a django project.
