It was a really good meeting. Excellent speech. [I'm pretty sure it will be
one of the "top speeches" I list in next year's survey.] Dinner remains at
the Palace Diner afterwards, which was also really good.

Yes -- the technology of 'people'. :-)

Sean delved into a short list of stories of what I'll call "the good, the bad,
and the ugly" concerning dealings he's had with developers. [The worst
possible response is none at all.]

IMHO the space is quite good, with a few very minor exceptions.

>From the point of view of a listener:
  - Bathrooms are behind a door that locks and can't be opened on
the bathroom side [this is being addressed]
  - Wifi router was situated in another building, so the signal was
slightly weak, but mostly worked fine [this is being addressed]
(BTW I noted that there were many access points in the area, most
of which appeared weak, so the weak signal to the MHVLUG access
point I suspect had more to do with RF noise from these other APs
rather than distance to the MHVLUG AP.)
  - Power outlets are only at the walls, so my suggestion is if you
need power, bring an extension cord.

>From the point of view of a speaker:
  - At some point we might want to try to get some kind of podium
  - Getting projector working (on laptop side) seemed slightly tricky
  - VGA cord to the projector is a bit short

Suggestion:
I'm thinking about presentations in which the speaker would like to give a
"live demo" of one kind or another; for that it would be nice to have a longer
VGA cable and a place to put a laptop such that it can be used while the
speaker is sitting or standing. [At least one potential topic I'd like to
speak about falls in this category.]

Parking in the suggested North Gate parking lot made finding the meeting room
easier. Thanks to all for trying to keep this as simple as possible. :-)
For once I managed not to get lost. Heh.
