Ok, share the word, the $35 was just about buying an arduino.

I'll remove it from the site, I can see how that might be confusing.

Hey Sean,

Just a heads up Sophie asked if it was a $35 entry fee. The wording may
not be clear to those who are not regulars.

MHVLUG is proud to announce our July meeting:

Mad Science Fair - Open Hardware Expo

Back by popular demand, our Mad Science Fair returns for 2012!

Come out for a night of show and tell on open hardware projects by
our members. Bring your Arduino, Beagle, Raspberry Pi, or other open
hardware based project and show it off. Share experiences with
others, and learn about all the amazing things you can do with these
    inexpensive open source platforms.

We'll have tables set up and do this science fair style, where
people will roam around and check out projects by others. All levels
of experience are welcome to present and participate. It just takes
$35 and a dream to get started!

To get you bootstrapped for this event, Squidwrench
<http://squidwrench.org> is going to be making Arduino a theme of
    their weekly Tuesday meetings.

The night's agenda will go as follows:

      * *5:00pm* - setup - anyone that wants to show up early to help
setup the room and their project is welcome
      * *6:00pm* - Screening of Arduino the Documentary
        <http://vimeo.com/18539129>
      * *6:30pm* - Science fair open, go check out everyone's projects
      * *8:00pm* - retreat to Palace Diner for dinner, desert, and
        further geekery

    Should be a great night!

The meeting space opens up at 5pm for pre meeting general
discussion, question asking, show and tell, and setup. All are
welcome to join. If you are planning on using the projector for your
lightning talk, please arrive at 5:30 to ensure we can work out any
kinks with the projector prior to the meeting.

The meeting will take place at Lourdes High School Auditorium
    <http://mhvlug.org/location/lourdes-high-school-auditorium> on
Wednesday, July 11th at 6 pm.

All meetings are free and open to the public, and everyone from all
levels of expertise and interest in Linux and Open Source Software
are encouraged to attend (and bring a friend or two)! After each
meeting ends everyone is welcome to join in on an informal dinner
gathering at the Palace Diner on Washington St. This is a great
opportunity to interact with members of the local Linux community,
and a forum where questions and comments are strongly welcomed.

For more details, including maps and directions, please see the
    meeting page
