The following are samples of what you will need (all are from Adafruit): - HDMI cable: http://www.adafruit.com/products/608 - 5V 1A power brick: http://www.adafruit.com/products/501 - USB A/micro B cable for power: http://www.adafruit.com/products/592 The power brick has a female USB A port to supply power to the Pi. Other suppliers: https://www.sparkfun.com/ and http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/ I would recommend using the HDMI cable rather than the RCA connector for the video. With HDMI you get the video but if it is connected to a monitor with speakers or that has an audio jack you will bet the audio through the HDMI. Also if you connect the Pi to a large screen TV with HDMI and you run either Raspbmc or OpenELEC (both XBMC media distributions) on the Pi you will be able to control the software on the Pi using the TV's remote. This uses HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) which most current HD TV's support.
