I dual boot XP/Ubuntu, really only booting into XP to play games. With
support for that OS dropping in 2014, I figure it's time to upgrade to
Win7, and with all the boot menu sillyness a Win7-second install
introduces, I might as well take the opportunity to increase the size of
the hard drives for both OS's and start with a fresh install of both
(Ubuntu has been wonky for me lately, probably due to my upgrading the OS
since 8.10 or so without a fresh install.)

Shopping around, SSD are still very expensive, but I noticed there's a new
option out there in the form of Solid State Hybrid Drives. I have a SSD in
my laptop for work, and really appreciate the speed difference. I was
wondering if anyone has had any experience with SSHD, if there's a
noticeable difference that's worth spending the extra money.
