Ok this is for people interested in MS Windows and/or Linux high end
monitor for a desktop.

I came across this fact: Monoprice is taking the LG made LCD panel for
Apple’s $999 Cinema Display and creating a 27" Dual Link DVI display ( thus
this will not work on a Apple computer ).
So for $390 you get a very good monitor which can be used for video and or
image editing ( after proper calibration ) and get very good results. Thus
this is for people working say with Blender and need to see a really
accurate crisp display. My point is you don't need this for every day text
editing, but this is a good find for anyone who works with visual media and
has to work with people using high end expensive Apple computers.
