Well - LibreCad loaded up with no problem - so maybe I will just go start
with that - I'm certainly not wedded to DraftSight (I think I said that
somewhere).

Chris - any pointers to some learning material? One of the nicer things
about DS was a real good intro doc that walked the user through pretty much
everything.
