Of the three I've received so far, I've had one uploaded to the keyservers, one uploaded and a signed confirmation emailed, and one encrypted and emailed to each UID but not uploaded.
Thanks for the reminder. I signed your key and uploaded to the server at hkp://pool.sks-keyservers.net
Also, do you recommend any good tools?
In the past I've used gpg from the Linux command line, but because I do most of my day-to-day stuff on a Mac I've been using GPG Keychain Access and I like it. GPG is one case where a GUI with menus is a big help, because there are so many options that with the command line I find myself browsing the man page every time I want to do something I don't remember right away. GPG Keychain Access is actually a part of a suite of tools, called GPG Suite (from http://gpgtools.org) which also integrates directly into the Mac mail program, so I can sign messages or receive encrypted or signed messages with little overhead, using the mail app I'm already using. It's open source, but only supports Mac. -Eric -- Eric Myers <[email protected]> 845-475-8176 PGP Key #6E2D2259/RSA: BA39 1D46 5EC3 0D59 C2AC 6FCB F920 4DC8 PGP Key #E519EAC3/DSS: D15B 9A50 B1ED 2947 EC29 B0F6 EA61 FB6E E519 EAC3 PGP Key #88F8EFDF/DSS 9107 B297 B8A8 10A2 CE57 9DA2 8763 A52B 88F8 EFDF _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org https://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) Vassar College Apr 2 - Nginx: High-Performance HTTP Server, Reverse Proxy, and IMAP/POP3 Proxy Server May 7 - Google App Engine Jun 4 - Samba: Can We All Just Get Along?
