Heck, if you're ready to replace the printer, then you don't care about Genuine HP Support, right?

Feed it dirt-cheap aftermarket ink cartridges until it dies, /then/ buy a new printer. Or, for $70, replace the print head and keep on truckin'.

When you throw that puppy out, I'll take it. My Epson R380 with a cheap continuous-ink system has been printing with cheap ink for the last eight years: it's sure to fail soon!
