MHVLUG is a labor of love, and only exists because so many great
people over the years have dedicated a chunk of time to keep the ship
sailing. It's that time of year again to ensure we've got folks to
help us sail smoothly through 2016.

After 2 years of incredible service, Al Jachimiak, our publicity
officer, has decided it's time to move on. I'd like to thank him
immensely for helping to expand the scope of the group and bring a
fresh set of eyes to everything we do.

The role of publicity officer is one of "getting the word out" in as
many ways as possible. Interpreting that is up to the officer in
question. The role evolves to match the skills and strengths of the
individual doing it.

We're looking for someone else in our community to take on this
challenge, and help keep us chugging into the future. We can't do it
without you. Please let me know via email ([email protected]) if this is
something you'd
be interested in doing, or wanted to learn more about getting
involved. We can't do this without you.

As always, if anyone is interested in any of the other officer roles:
President, Program Director, Historian, volunteers are more than
welcome. The existing officers are happy to serve another year, but
are all also happy to step aside to let a new voice into the mix.

And, as always, we run an open leadership style, which means there are
open officer meetings every 3 months to help plan the next 3 - 6
months of the organization. Anyone is welcome to join us at these to
help MHVLUG evolve and grow over time.
