I've got samba 2.0.6 working pretty well with lots of help from lots of
places (thanks everyone) but I cannot seem to get swat to come up in IBrowse
1.22 (reg) to save my life. I followed Holgers directions setting up the
database pages and SMBClient works too,
any ideas I'd like to use it to tweak my smb.conf file rather than doing it
all by hand (which I'm still a bit uncomfortable at doing)
Another question. I just installed linux (red hat 5.2) on a peecee that
used to be WinNT Server for the lan and can't seem to find samba or mount
the cdrom to look for it. Any suggestions on getting that working with the
Amiga and the win 98 box on the network? I'm still in the process of RTFM
for linux so I may find it eventually but its really big and I'm a huge
newbie there, so I'd appreciate any hints .. Thanks for bearing with me on
this diversion.
