Hello again everyone,
Ahhhh...back to the drawing board. :) I had written a problem I was
before & Fred Wright was a great help. I'm now faced with getting my
connection going again. :(
I set out to install Samba (newest version on Aminet) & since then I've
lost the connection I had. :( I'm not sure what happened. Anyway, here's
my config:
A cable from DSL to a switcher, then a cable from the switcher to my AMIGA,
& to a wintel with another cable going from the switcher to the 2nd
Ethernet board in this wintel machine.
The wintel is running 98SE with ICS. The AMIGA is running Miami & MiamiDX
although I'm trying to set things up (again) with DX.
I have 192.168.0.1 in the 1st NIC Adapter TCP/IP IP settings. I don't have
anything in the Gateway nor DNS or anthing else.
I have 192.168.0.2 as DX's IP. I have 255.255.255.0 as DX's mask. I have
192.168.0.1 as DX's Gateway.
I am able to PING the wintel from the AMIGA & visa versa. But every time I
try to ping an outside IP (by IP number) I get the Subject now. :(
ICMP echo request from MiamiTCPDump -A -l
Ahhhhhh... Any ideas??!?! I had it working Before... I wish I had written
down all the settings I had on this blasted wintel ...Oh well. I will once
I get it working again. :) Haha.
Help?! Thanks in Advance! (losing Hair Rapidly)
