Okay, it is probably square. If you wanted to double check, I would take the tires off and measure from the tongue to the hub on both sides. (This may be hard to do in practice, but see what you can do)
I would also check the alignment of the trailer tires. Use a tape measure to check the distance between tires front and back. I think you want 0" toe. Something has to be wrong for this to happen. It looked pretty square to me. Also, the back of the tongue measures to be in the center of the axle and the front of the tongue is the in the center of the trailer so I think that is proof that I am square. The change I made to my tongue mounting brackets was to remove the one closest to the car and move it back a few inches. I fabbed the middle one (the one back a few inches) and attached the tongue to it BEFORE cutting the other one off so I believe I kept the alignment the same as before.
