I suggest you ask about this on the MiataPower list. There's some serious
gearheads there that may be able to better answer what's up with your torsen,
and I *know* they'll be able to tell you if the images you sent are a torsen.

(P.S. I'm crossposting this there in case they have any ideas... Bill?)

well, I guess i've posted this before but I will try to explain as
good as possible

If I turn hard to the right, 2 or 3th gear, I keep my foot at the
accelerator, to keep a contant speed, I hear a sound comming from the
left rear wheel.
Last year, the wheel bearings got replaced but I still get the noise.
There is no muffler vibrating next to anything and the brakes are fine
too.

I had this on the track in 2006 for the first time, in fast right turns.

I can get the sound when I do a roundabout in ghost mode (wrong side
of the road) - so you turn to the right instead of left.
The sound is there when my tires are about to scream and lose tration.
When I would drag the throttle, I would get some oversteer (so, I'm
trying to tell you tht the noise occurs when I'm turning right, near
the limits and the torsen might start to work)

I had the noise on a friends website, but it's down. I didn't find it
yet on my harddisk, weird.

I didn't bring my car to a mazda dealer yet. I'm affraid their charges
will be more than getting another diff.
