Why would you have to go through with tuning again when you reconnect the battery? Read Ray's message. LINK keeps default settings (there are 4 of them) and one saved setting in the non-volatile memory. When the power is applied to LINK, it loads the saved settings to start. It doesn't matter whether the battery was disconnected or not. Everyone is either pulling my leg today or no one has understood the question. Yes, the DEFAULTS, as in Turbo1, Tubo2, etc are permanent. The TUNING and settings calibrated on the road that we must acquire via coarse and fine tuning are my concerns. These are temporary and are lost when one disconnects battery power. **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
