Why are we bringing politics to this list (including the petition itself - it isn't about fuel, it's about politics)? There are other forums for such things. Can't we stick to the reason this list exists and the one thing we all have in common?
<soapbox> I for one am tired of all the rantings based on what you happen to believe and what news channel you subscribe to. Do your due diligence. The information is out there in black and white via energy reports and financial reports with NO political agenda, just facts and hard numbers. Quit trying to find support for 'your side' (because you can always find statistics that support whatever it is you believe) and get the hard numbers and do the math.
